This statement acts as an overview to the Meridian Public School Foundation, founded in 1997. It’s purpose is to receive gifts and donations in order to promote and support scholarships for graduating seniors. In the future, we hope to supplement funds for programs within the schools, such as field trips, equipment, travel, workshops, conferences, and sabbaticals for teachers.
The Board of Trustees has been installed and is headed by Chairman of the Board, Paul Kratzig, long-time resident, coach and supporter of the district.
Our 501 (c) (3) tax status has been established with the IRS, thus making all donations tax deductible. We look forward to your support allowing the Foundation to grow and provide an array of exciting programs to our students, thus enlarging upon the strong sense of pride and community already so evident in our district.
